Questions, answered.

How long until they grow?

Just add water and set them somewhere bright. You'll see the first green shoots in just 3–5 days, with a full head of hair soon after.

Is it real grass?

Yes — it's real annual ryegrass seed inside each Growbie. The hair is living grass you grow yourself, not a fake plant.

What age is it for?

Growbies are made for ages 3 and up. They contain small parts, so they're not suitable for children under 3.

Can kids cut the hair?

Absolutely — that's half the fun. Trim, shape, and re-style the grass as it grows, then watch it grow back for a whole new look.

Does every Growbie look the same?

Each one has its own fixed personality — eyes, brows, and expression — while the grass hair grows in a little differently every time. No two end up exactly alike.
