Little friends, born from a pile of party-favor plastic.
How a dad, two kids, and one too many goodie bags led to a crew of little friends with real grass hair.

The mess.
It started with a mess on the floor. Another birthday, another goodie-bag haul: spinning tops, mini whistles, a dinosaur missing a leg. By the next morning, most of it was in the bin. As a dad of two, Julian did that math across enough parties to feel a little ridiculous. The favors were the most forgettable part of an unforgettable day.
The search.
He went looking for something different. Not another plastic thing to toss, but something a kid would keep. Something with a bit of life in it. The bar was simple and stubborn: it had to make a four-year-old gasp, survive past Monday, and not cost a fortune by the case.
The spark.
The answer turned out to have hair. A little character that grows a wild green mop of real grass. Water it, name it, give it a haircut, and watch the hair grow back for the next look. Not a plant. Not a toy. A little friend.
The build.
Julian gave them faces, names, and one rule: every Growbie is its own character. Then he found a workshop where each one is still filled, seeded, and finished by hand. Growbies were born. Grow. Style. Repeat.
Made by hand
Every Growbie is filled, seeded, and finished by hand in our partner workshop.

That's why no two Growbies sit quite alike. Yours is yours.
The best party favor is the one they check on tomorrow morning.
