At 4 and 5, it's the grass hair that lands: something alive they get to take home. At 6 and 7, it's the haircuts — they'll style it, trim it, and compare whose grew fastest. Older kids collect the personalities. One 16-pack covers the whole guest list, no sorting into ages.

How many Growbies do I need?
One per guest, plus a spare or two. The 16-Pack covers a party of up to 14 with spares; for 17–30 kids add a 4-Pack or take the 32-Pack (two displays).
Do they arrive ready to hand out?
Yes. Each Growbie comes in its own printed box with the care card inside — no sorting, no bagging. Drop one in each goodie bag, or hand them out as the kids leave.
Will the kids get different ones?
The 16-Pack has all eight personalities, two of each. Which one each child gets is the surprise — and the first thing they compare.
What age is it for?
Ages 3 and up (small parts, so not for under-3s). The sweet spot is 4 to 8: young enough to be amazed, old enough to do the haircut with a grown-up on scissors.
What do parents do at home?
Soak the head for about 5 hours, set it on the vase with water, put it somewhere bright. Sprouts in 3–5 days, first haircut by about day 7. The card in the box says exactly this.
How far ahead should I order?
Orders ship in 1–2 business days from our US warehouse, so a week ahead is comfortable. Nothing starts growing until it meets water, so ordering early is fine too.
Is it messy at the party?
No. The box is the favor — nothing gets opened at the party unless you want it to. At home it's water only, no soil.
What if one doesn't grow?
Every Growbie is covered by the happy-grow guarantee: if one doesn't sprout, we send a replacement.
